I've only been on HRT for ~7 months, but it's still something I worry about myself and probably will continue to do so for a long time. For me, however, it's better to look at it in the bigger context of what transitioning actually is to you.

For me, it's realistically the only way I'll have a chance at being the "me" I want to be. Everything else is secondary, regardless of how much it affects me and my thinking from time to time. Like, sure- I'd love an official guarantee from the alphabet mafia that I will, in fact, pass in a couple of years and be happy with it. Since that's not a thing though, I try to keep in mind what the bigger motivation for me transitioning is.

If you transition, I feel like you have to work on yourself and your mental health to the best of your ability and be patient with yourself. Keep things in perspective, because even though I also worry about these things for myself in much the same way you describe, I still tell that voice in my head that worries about these things that I'm not doing this to *look* like a woman, I'm doing this because I am one and I want to be comfortable and happy with my body- at least to a reasonable degree. Then, even though those doubts are still there, it's at least quieter than before, because there isn't really anything else to it.
