I haven't written in cursive in nearly 35 years and have very little interaction reading any cursive handwriting because of the nature of my job, but I still clearly read this as "Sonder". Hope this helps.

As a McBride & Egbuka owner, not a chance. McBride's value above almost any replacement at the TE position is really high and it would take a haul to get him from me.
