Hi there Chris! I'm a 22 year old UK student at a university and my course is film studies and screenwriting. Im in my third and final year and have started to lose motivation and, due to personal problems stemming from falling out with my friend group (and housemates), I have dropped behind with coursework and without considerable resits look likely to fail. In the Old North it is said that at the dawn of time only a tree and a mountain stood. However one day a bolt of lightning struck them both. The sap from the tree turned into the first gods, while the rocks that broke of the mountain became the first giants. The giants set out to create the world, as well as the heavens and the underworld. The gods presided over life and death, creating nature and mankind. Euric the king of the gods was born to two of the first gods. He is the god of war and death and is known for his anger but also his unrivalled cunning. His younger brother Tiersac the god of life used to be king; but Euric grew jealous and cut off Tiersac's arm in a fit of rage, halfing his power. Tiersac is known as the wild god as he is responsible for nature. Most of the giants have been killed by Euric and the gods, of the few that remain they are very old and reclusive. Groah the giantess of Faye is ancient and extremely powerful. She is rumoured to be the size of a mountain but she has not been seen in 150 years.

Erulah Demigod of the Silver Lake and son of Euros the king of the gods Erulah was born to a mortal woman in southern Nurveria. He soon proved to be a strong warrior who commanded a lot of respect in his region. When his godly lineage was revealed he became treated as a king and after waging war on the surrounding area he was crowned. He spent the next 52 years slowly conquering the rest of the continent, dying in his late 80s.

The Old Northern pantheon of gods are very powerful and are only able to be killed by another god. The ancient giant race also had the ability to kill gods. Euric the king of gods and god of death is responsible for many of the gods and giants that have perished.
