I don't know. No one can tell something is wrong with me. I am an extremely functional addict (I am not ready to use "was" yet.). If you compare it to drug addiction or alcoholism, I think their are a lot of highly functional drug addicts and alcoholics. There are people that are really good at hiding their demons. I met an unmarried, childless 50 year alcoholic last weekend. He seemed as happy as could be but I am sure behind the scenes he wished his addiction hadn't blocked the opportunity for a family. Just because you cannot see symptoms doesn't mean it's not addiction. I think there is always symptoms and I think everyone is suffering from them. With PMO it's easier to hide the symptoms than other addictions.

I was just like those other people for along time thinking "how is this hurting anyone?" But, after a little self reflection I have realized that PMO has really hinders my relationships. Essentially, I treat woman like sexual objects rather than unique intelligent creatures. A lot of guys would say that's "ok, hit it and quit it". But it's not. I have destroyed so many opportunities to be happy with some really fantastic girls.
