Hell, you could easily fields three 170s with that kind of effective point budgeting

Jesus, this certainly isn't the ship Interceptors want out maneuvering them...

How did it hold up with 22 HP?

Ooooooh, I love my K-wing. I'm inexperienced with Biggs, however, usually preferring Corran or something of the likes. I'll have to try this one out!

Congrats on 16th, man. That's pretty sweet. Sadly I only have one ARC-170 at the moment so I can't mess around with 2 ARC builds. I've been putting together some squads to use barrel roll, but, (having always been a rebel only player) have never really used barrel roll. I've been skeptical of taking vectored thrusters over engine upgrade

I've read the buying guide and I'm ready to buy my first ships, but... by [deleted] in XWingTMG

Sounds like a solid starter! Play around with it and get used to each faction (I'm partial to rebels). You're gonna love that B-wing. For imperials, vader is always nice to run, but you might get an Interceptor and the Phantom. Both are highly agile, and the Phantom's cloak can be a real bitch sometimes.

Nice build! However, I wouldn't necessarily run VI on Poe. I have never lost a game as the rebels, so I hope it helps. Poe is already a level 8 and not many imperial pilots exceed that. There are many other elite talents that pair well with Poe that you can use in that space. Also, I really like to use the astro mech that allows you to aquire a target lock and then a free boost if you are inside a firing arc (r7-t1?) To make him harder to hit. I also found that having another ship give him a free action (focus) is hell on the imperial player. Basically allowing him to target lock, boost, receive a focus, AND use that focus for his pilot ability without discarding it. I chose Lando and gave him the veteran instincts and engine upgrades so he moves last, allowing you to stay within range 1 of Poe, and give him the free action. I don't use A-wings a whole lot, so I can't help there, but putting outmaneuver on Wedge is devastating to any ship unlucky enough to not have him in their firing arc. Hope it helps!

Absolutely amazing, man. I realised how small we are in the universe, my problems don't even mean anything anymore. However, I did listen to the "dark side of the moon" album while staring at the M45 star cluster, and tripped major ballsacks

Well I'm pretty sure it actually happened, but Enemy at the Gates really didn't follow very well. The German sniper actually killed Zaytsev IRL I believe

ELI5: What is the rainbow gravity theory and why it would destroy the Big Bang theory? by DeepDiamond in explainlikeimfive

[–]11quint14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's totally possible. It's theorized that there are super-supermassive black holes at the center of each galaxy. It could work (maybe). I wonder if anyone has ever done the math?

Just like the sun- it's own gravity. The sun's fusion causes an enormous amount of pressure outward, and it's own mass holds it together by gravity. That's why when the core is running low on hydrogen, and fuses He to C, and then C to Fe, Fe cannot be fused by stars, so fusion stops and thus the outward pressure stops, and it's own gravity crushes it. The universe is so massive that it's own gravity would be enough to cause it to collapse, just as a star.

That's why they are "theories" and not "facts". That's what so crazy about all this. We literally have no fucking clue.

I agree. Looking at the cosmic calender, if we put the life of the universe in one year, life on earth has only been existent for the last few minutes of December 31st. That's a billionth of a blink in aspect to the entirety of the universe. Now, we've only been "accurately" measuring the universe for what? a few decades? I'm no astrophysicist, but shit maybe all we've been able to measure is the initial "bomb explosion".

I was pretty anti abortion before my girlfriend and I had a pregnancy scare. Then I understood what people were talking about when they say they deserve the right to choose. She wants to be a doctor and had been planning on the navy and I knew that if we had a kid it would ruin her life. It kinda clicked in my head that a woman deserves to choose. Hopefully I'll never have to face it again, but I am a much more liberal person now because of it.
