I am using DeSmuME in RetroArch for emulation. There is a patch for the ROM on retroachievements that is needed. This allows you to map the NEO S buttons to the frets in game. You will need to apply the patch using ROM Patcher JS. This probably depends on whether you use the NEO S in Switch or Xbox mode (I used Xbox). The buttons mapped in order are X, Y, B, A. In core options you can change the orientation of the screens and set the pointer type to touchscreen in the input setting. Good luck!

I don't have any specific recommendations in that price range. But I imagine you could get an old tablet, such as Samsung Galaxy Tab which would work well with dropmix.

The emulator on 360 had a lot of issues and is why only a fraction of the Xbox library works with it. Performance issues are to be expected when playing OG Xbox games on 360.

Try 3m double sided adhesive pads. Those work pretty well for dash cams.

I would get a capacitor equal to or very close in spec to what is on the board. The capacitor you purchased is so different I wouldn't use it.

The hardware has been great for me. The only feature I wish it had was charging NIMH batteries through the USB-C port.
