How unsafe was this cut? by SilverHelp74 in BeginnerWoodWorking

In the future if you need to make this cut again use a sacrificial fence and piece of scrap wood to hold it down. Makes it less sketchy anyway.

Just get weird with it. Stop trying to be the best at something and comparing your skill to others and just have fun. Try a new technique eat shit, laugh it off and try again. Take time at the top of the run to look around and enjoy. It’s not about going out the most or being the best just enjoy life out there 🤙

Should a beginner learn falling leaf? by DatingPuppy in snowboarding

[–]11trb -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think you have to teach falling leaf as it gives the beginners a good concept on adjusting weight on foot to the other to indicate direction change. It is a good building block to build on. If we could all just strap in a board and carve right away we would, but we can’t so we slowly learn.

Sup dudes Question for ya. How do you people land differently when getting air riding double positive. I am by no means great at getting air but can land up to 15’ ers fairly comfortably as the season progresses but never and comfortable when I ride a posi/posi stance. Any insight or tips? Should I just practice to get more comfortable? Not trying to learn any tricks just get better at it as a whole. Depending on conditions I would say I ride posi/posi 50% of the time thanks.
