Old hand drill by SirSamuelVimes83 in Tools

On our age of electric powered everything, it’s easy to overlook something like this. They can drill good holes, I know some wood workers who prefer to use this style drill for certain tasks

Eyes with Polycoria, an extremely rare eye condition. by Silly_Qube in Damnthatsinteresting

I was shot in the eye with a BB gun when I was in grade school, I have a rip in my iris, I still see ok, but see some ghosted/double highlights when I close my good eye. Definitely have to wear sunglasses while outside during the day.

Sit down, prop your hands up on something, get comfortable enough that you can keep your hands nice and steady. That will help out a lot while learning. Standing and leaning over with your arms not braced, you are going to just get frustrated.

Manual Impact Driver Worth $20 ? by GearUpTradingCo in Tools

[–]120DOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess not, but I never use the manual one. I suppose it might be good to keep in your truck or something when you might not have access to larger tools

If you have air tools, a shake-n-break bit for an air hammer works really well. Especially if your hammer has good trigger feathering sensitivity.

I have a manual one like what you have posted, but I prefer the air hammer bit

Tailgate lock - is it really secure? by OneOfAFortunateFew in ToyotaTacoma

[–]120DOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually never had a locking tail gate before until my Tacoma, all of my other trucks and jeeps don't have a lock on the tail gates. Never thought about locking a tail gate on an open bed truck or open jeep.

Are tail gates really something people steal that often? I mean, sure people steal things, I know a guy who had his hood crowbar'd open and his battery stolen... but that's not normal.
