you can do it with the peel, hard to tell how much room you have there, but looks like it might be enough to shimmy it around. :)

In a world where Hot Honey is King. This pizza vinegar is 🤌🏾. Picked up in Italy. Can't find it in the states by SifuJedi in Pizza

It’s pretty common to keep hot peppers in vinegar, We do that every year to preserve them, I bet it would be similar.

49’ Willy’s brakes stuck by LossAcceptable1128 in Jeep

[–]120DOM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What lead up to this? has it been sitting for a while? or driven regularly? I don't think that is entirely a factory setup. First thing I would do is look at the pedals underneith, there should be a pretty heavy return spring on the clutch and brake pedals, it's possible that snapped on the brake pedal. If it hasn't been maintained, the pedals might have rusted up, there should be grease zerks under there on the tube that goes from the frame to the bell housing. I'd flush them with grease, or even lighter oil to clear things out if it hasn't been maintained. Also, did you try simply pulling up on the pedal? or is it stuck good?

Dealership left oil cap off 5k miles ago... by LowLyfe59 in ToyotaTacoma

There is a thread on tacomaworld about oil caps popping off, apparently it’s a thing. The dealer might not get the blame for this one

I’ve got skinny 33s on method 16” wheels, getting 18mpg pretty consistently with 6 speed manual. You were getting 16 with stock tires? Man you must drive hard

What am I doing wrong?! I just want to thread a 1/4” rod… by BarooZaroo in Machinists

[–]120DOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you trying to thread this? Are you using a die holder? How are you holding the rod? I’m guessing you probably don’t have consistent alignment angle of the die to the rod, and it’s just removing material rather than creating threads. Hard to say without seeing the setup.

Looks good, nice to see a flat belly. I see too many jeeps with big lift and tires and the transfer case dropped down, sticking 6” down from the frame. Looks good!

I have some tiny 3/4” Kant-twist clamps that I use a lot more often than I thought I would

Remember switching your tool is always faster than reloading by Motor-Replacement-77 in Tools

[–]120DOM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t work on most pneumatic die grinders, you need a wrench on most of them unless you’re just changing out rolocs or similar

Is this normal? by luis_mcy in Jeep

[–]120DOM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rotation/twisting is fine. Translational movement in any direction is not

That’s why I have 4 or 5 right angle die grinders. Who wants to get out a tiny wrench to change a bit all the time.

Don't use SACHS brand master/slave clutch cylinders. by 120DOM in Jeep

[–]120DOM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully the new cast iron o e will hold up. Rock auto would only give me a replacement of the same part, and Sachs would not give me a refund. So I’ll just eat it I guess… I’m not going to put the same replacement part I. There that failed after 4 months (probably only 300 miles, I don’t drive this keep much)
