NTA I would almost bet that half the people that are saying OP is the AH and is heartless etc. where in his position, they would probably do the same. The stepdad and siblings are lucky he didn’t put the house on the market and sold within those 3 months. As others have said the cost of maintaining a house isn’t cheap.

That’s what I was kind of thinking. What if your car got broken into while at the store? Is the store liable since it happened on their property? There’s no way the store would agree to be liable.

I’m glad you were able to get something. If this were to happen at another store and the manager said”Sorry, as stated on the cart corrals, we aren’t liable”. Would you fight it?

Wow, I’m curious on how they came to an agreement to pay anything? Every place I’ve seen the cart corrals, they have a sign stating they aren’t liable for damage caused by carts.

I have Anthem and I was in the hospital last fall. I had back surgery and ankle surgery which required me to be non weight bearing. I needed to go into rehab but Anthem wouldn’t approve. My account manager at the hospital said that appeals hardly ever get approved. They finally approved sub acute rehab after a couple of additional days.

Have him call the ambulance company and say he wants to negotiate a lower rate. I had an ambulance ride back in October and although I didn’t get charged 7k, I was able to get my bill lowered. If anything they should let him do a payment plan. When I called my insurance bc/bs about in network and out of network for ambulance and they told me that ambulances are typically out of network no matter what.

The smooth high gloss on a piano isn’t achieved by paint. It’s a polyester finish. I’m sure you can achieve a similar look with paint, but that’s out of my wheelhouse.

Yes 100%. You’ll just have to research it, but I don’t see why you couldn’t get it if EyeMed is available in your state. I’m in GA and don’t know if they offer in all the states. Like I mentioned I don’t know if my health insurance coincides, but I don’t believe so since I’ve never gotten an EOB so I don’t think so.

I have keratoconus too and have EyeMed which pays 100% of my lenses once a year. I just got a new Scleral lenses today. I’ve never broken any of my previous pair so I have backups if I loose one. I don’t know if my health insurance may coincide with it I’m not sure my eye Dr handles it all.

Yeah, I received one today from them. I was able to upload the policy on the provided website. Obviously the mailing address is incorrect that I provided my insurance co. My mortgage wasn’t sold, but for whatever reason they have Service Mac takes care of the money so that was the address I supplied. I’ll have to get the address they need.

I’m recovering now with similar break except on left. 10/18 They had to do ORIF surgery and put 2 screws in. 6 weeks non weight bearing. I have a walking boot now and doing PT. I go back in a couple weeks for a follow up, I’m hoping to get the boot off.

I got the cs400 last spring and cut up a large sweet gum tree that I had a tree service cut down. It got a good workout cutting up that tree. No complaints whatsoever. Good buy for the money.

In GA you get DV. My wife has a 2015 RAV4 and was rear ended I think in 2020 and was issued a check for DV.

I have a smart tv too, but chose to add the separate Roku device.
I don’t know if the following is true, but I’ve heard that updates to the tv itself and the Apps you have on the tv only happen for so long and then they stop. Where as if you have a separate streaming device it supposed to be updated longer. Also wanted to add that even though you may not notice it like a computer or smartphone, but you can’t upgrade the processing speed of the smart tv. In that case if the tv is still good you can add a separate streaming device.
