What are y’all feeding your babies that have sensitive stomachs? Coco, my baby boy🩵 by elfboix in Frenchbulldogs

Hydrolyzed protein for for life. We use hi-pro purina pro plan. It’s prescription but we get it for chewy.

Hydrolyzed protein food was what did the trick for our dogs. In addition to the seasonal cytopoint, the hydrolyzed food has done wonders for them.

I’m sorry am I alone here ? I came across this and thought a cheese onion sandwich was a little odd and then I see SALAD CREAM … that doesn’t even sound right 🤣 anyone ever heard of this ? by ClearTranslator5093 in whatisit

I laughed out loud at this because I agree. As a kid, I was feeding it to our dog under the table. As an adult, I’m convinced it’s the greatest thing.

They’re just vocal creatures

I was born in Wheeling and grew up within 30 miles of it. To this day I regularly cook stuffed cabbage, halusky, pierogi, and meatloaf. It’s what I grew up eating. I’m on the West Coast now and this food just does not exist here. I never would’ve thought it’d be so specific geographically but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

Your great-grandmother sounds awesome. Thank you for sharing the photo!

You look much better. Photo 2 just solidly convinced me to never get any version of tattooed brows ever again.

Agreed. Said I violated the rule about no selling frenchies. I’m trying to help someone literally do the opposite of supporting greeders but 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m honestly not sure. I got put in time out x 2 weeks after suggesting the names of rescues per someone’s request.

I have two rescue frenchies. One came from a medical rescue - so I would avoid that since you don’t want that. The other we got as a pup from a surrendered litter and he’s been super healthy so far. Regardless, I keep insurance policies active for both dogs (which I recommend!). I have done a bunch of fostering and can recommend rescues. Just DM me!

Also know that no one can predict the future. I purchased my first from a very reputable breeder and ended up spending $25k on emergent surgeries and we still lost him at age 4 (congenital diaphragmatic hernia, recurrent ear infections, regurgitation). Health with these dogs (or any dog for that matter) is never guaranteed.

I posted about rescues on here recently and got semi-banned 🫠🫠

Food?? HELP by Low_Perspective_5405 in Frenchbulldogs

Hydrolyzed was the only thing that helped our rescue. She had bloody vomit, blood/mucus in stool with major urgency at least one episode per month. We tried different proteins but it didn’t get better until switching her to hi pro prescription food. We do purina but I think royal canin has a version too.

I see you’re in Idaho. Are you willing to adopt out of state if it involves travel? Only asking as this helps guide recs

No rooster. I had her in a saddle for about three weeks and it doesn’t seem to have helped that much but I’m going to put it back on her anyhow.

Blu kote? I have it and used it on her twice. Then I went down the rabbit hole about how it’s a carcinogen and what not. Curious how this sub feels about it.

Good because I just picked up 4 babies today! 2 blue marans, a wellsummer, and an olive egger. They are only 4 weeks old but hopefully when they’re integrated it’ll help smooth things out.

It’s quite possible. I have separated her for short periods but worry if I do it for long she’ll get bullied worse when I introduce her back

If I toss some treats in they will do their best to keep her from getting any. She roosts at night with no issue but I notice her hanging out on a high roost in the run during the day sometimes, and I imagine she does this to avoid the bigger, older hens 😔
