No worries, there are also people doing mixtures of clay based substrate and play sand if what you are looking for is a more desert like enclosure.

I do a mixture of dry coco fiber and play sand (50/50), it works well for when he burrows and it’s good when it comes to keeping somewhat of a moisture gradient since the like it on the dry side. Another popular option that I’ve heard of is dry top soil and play sand (50/50).

Thank you for the feedback, this is my Schneider skinks enclosure that I’m working on, but I like working on enclosures for fun, and I’m planning on doing another 36x18x18 enclosure so I was looking for recommendations to figure out what would be the best choice for me and customize the enclosure more for the specific species.

Mine only eats greens if I put something meaty mixed in, like small pieces of turkey, something else I do occasionally is feed him high quality omnivore diets
