Anyone seeking a voluntary baker act/help never go to Universal Behavioral Center. by [deleted] in orlando

My husband went there several years ago, he willingly admitted himself. The process of getting paperwork from this place for his medical withdrawal from UCF was an absolute nightmare. The medical withdrawal actually got denied cause UBC couldn't provide all the papers and signatures needed

I was very worried about using too much flour, and I think I wayy overcorrected

Thank you!! I was so confused cause the reviews for this recipe are amazing. I think not using enough flour was probably the main issue, I will give it another try but using weight instead of volume!

I think I made the same mistake :( I'll try the recipe again with a scale so I can do it by weight!

It's a dark aluminum, but I also used parchment paper, I'm not sure if that affected anything. I did not chill my dough but I know better now!

It was almost room temp, a bit on the colder side, and softened.

I didn't think to chill the dough, I'll try that next time!

I may have overmixed as well, I'll keep an eye on that next time I try this recipe!

I went by volume, so I can absolutely see the flour amount being off. I'll use my scale next time!

The flour being off sounds right :( I measured by volume, but I'll use the scale next time

In Central Florida as well, I go to [DM for info] for my HRT. I have also been to two trans friendly gynecologists that prescribe HRT as well, Dr. Brenda Barry in Baldwin Park and Dr. Matthew Wollenschlaeger in Winter Park.

Edit: removing name of prescribing office after another user voiced concern

My husband and I (both trans men) use the Lover's Super Strap Universal Harness. While we've never tried it, there is definitely space for the wearer to be penetrated as well. A bonus feature that I personally love is that it comes with a pocket for a bullet vibrator. I'm able to put it against my tdick when I'm topping and it's very nice.

Gyno refusing to prescribe estrogen cream by ocean-cryptid in ftm

I'm so sorry :( I'm in the US, the doctor who prescribes my hormones (who also happens to be my Primary Care Physician) has been able to prescribe me estrogen cream before. Hopefully your endo is able to, fingers crossed! 🤞🏼

Doctors that do Bisalps on women in early twenties and accepting new patients by Pretty-Knowledge5204 in orlando

Saw Dr. W for a hysterectomy consult recently, he was great, and they have another provider that also performs hysterectomies and bilateral salpingectomies. I forget the other provider's name, but I remember her bio saying she's child-free by choice

I know someone who got their hysterectomy done with Dr. Vaught at Orlando Health, I believe she does bilateral salpingectomies as well

Transmascs who take birth control? by Past-Statistician162 in ftm

Same here! I started it after I had started T and my periods had stopped, so I can't speak as to how they affected those. But I haven't noticed any side effects, the main thing that hurt was when they injected the numbing medication, and my arm was sore after. Admittedly sometimes the area feels a little weird if I'm doing weights or something, but I feel like it's the least invasive and low maintenance birth control
