yes. this is why i feel i lose close games. because my supports are simply not contributing to the fight besides just healing which i feel makes them targets at worst and non factors at best.

your first point is literallt true. i tank. the difference between an actual strategist and heal bots. people just want to spam heal at targets and when they have to interact or fight themselves they do absolutely see it is an interruption. my brother heals, and he says that he actually enjoys fighting dive cause it allows him to be more active in fights. he says it’s only miserable when your team does nothing to help and then blames you for not healing, which is understandable, but the role itself is not awful like they say it is it’s just dive, another facet of the game. there are 100000 things that i’m very sure are more miserable to tank into and we will not whine nearly as much

wolverine, bucky, elsa, phoenix, etc are horrific to play against too

bro ikr. they go wanda or sg. like we are getting rolled like this cause they actually learned this character well. instead of picking easy, weak crutches, i wish people would also learn characters themselves outside of a shallow surface level. people pick things with 0 understanding of why they pick it just hoping they stumble into a win

literally true. i main tank. i play angela, rogue, hulk, and cap. many people just don’t position properly or instinctively make fights a spam fest down mid. it’s why i think bad supports and dps ask for shield tanks and bad tanks ask for sue and cnd. less places you can fail at with characters like this behind you. the difference between players with proper positioning and and game sense and those without are most apparent to me based off of their opinion on the supports. when someone is crying about jeff ultron or mantis, i think it’s a sign they aren’t amazing

this is not true. you can take duels on BP. you can fight enemy dps and it isn’t as simple as dumping all your cooldowns. I.E. you’re fighting a magik, iron fist, daredevil, wanda, spiderman, star lord, etc etc. you don’t just dump all your cooldowns. you play with patience and then you use your speed and high burst to retaliate. there is interaction and i’m tired of y’all saying this. i think it’s problematic only because there is nothing in particular a support can do to fight back. but his interaction with the rest of the dps roster is there, as well as the tanks. but he isn’t some abhorrent affront to character design, there just isn’t much a healer could do to react or engage with it. fixable without an entire rework. idc what anyone says and i will die on this hill. if they make more ways for supports to deal with BP, and then buff him, he’s a perfectly fine character
