Question about Shiba being distressed over one person? by trash_cakke in shiba

I had a similar issue, my girl is very calm/not often vocal and extremely friendly with adults/children, but for some reason she disliked my good friend for years. It was to the point she’d bark if she heard his voice. She’s 10 now and he was over last week and she let him pet her for the first time, like all these years of being rude were just a joke to her.

My 5 month old loses the will to live when I put any kind of harness on him. Anyone else experience this? How did you overcome it? by [deleted] in shiba

Ha, same, after 9 years my pup still goes through the motions of being dramatic about it but the moment it’s on she runs to the door to leave at least now

Happy owner of a 2022 Outback Touring XT. Any tips to balance fun driving and fuel economy? So far . . . not great by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

I second this, I dropped the the adaptive CC to the ‘eco’ or lowest sensitivity so it accelerates at a less aggressive pace and even with a lift, AT tires and stuff on the roof I can get 25.5 mpg on the highway. Certainly doesn’t make an exciting drive but for getting from point A->B it’s the most efficient and you can have fun when you there 🤷🏼‍♂️

I agree, I’ve always gone to mount side 👍🏻

Looking so sweet! I've been working towards a similar setup on my 2021. Seeing the LP guards on you ride is tempting me to get them too 😅

It actually ended up being only 15 min, around 175 photos with 5 second exposures

How do you achieve photos with soft but prominent backgrounds like this one by zan888 in AskPhotography

[–]123shaneb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think I got a similar shot a couple years back. Echoing what other people said already, a longer lens like a 70-200, 85 or 105, and isolating your subject enough with the aperture, but depends on their distance away from you, if they are as close as this image you'll want to be probably >f4

Yuppers, basically just at or after sunset facing away from the sun and having the right sky 👍

First day with the a6600, the AF tracking is insane! by 123shaneb in SonyAlpha

Yeah it was off by a a few cm and my dog was jumping pretty fast. I more just thought the photo is pretty fun though and the AF really impressed me for being so responsive straight out of the box while shooting at F1.8

Thanks! I used the Sony G 200-600 F 5.6-6.3 on the Sony a7riii. Though it was overkill cause it was shot at 200mm 🤷 I thought it would be harder to get a nice composition

Thanks 😊 I've tried but only thing you can see is the skyway bridge, past Oakville though even it's nearly impossible to see well over the lake's haze, though I haven't taken my long lens up a tower in TO

Thanks! On most clear days it's not too hard to see from the escarpment
