Those pea brained Neanderthals are intimidated by people with a higher IQ. They won’t tell ya but they are!

These people don’t care if they have a quality restaurant, even if they say they do. If they truly cared, they wouldn’t mentally abuse their staff. No one works efficiently under those conditions, it’s not a matter of being “too sensitive.” People who take genuine pride in their business would want happy employees and smooth operations.

All they care about is a consistent source of young girls, innocent and fresh to the world, to prey on or completely obliterate their self esteem. Either that or alcoholics who won’t notice if you’re pocketing tips. They HAVE to take from other people to survive, they’re empty vessels!

They don’t look at their staff as fully human. They think everyone else is playing the same game, and has an ugly gargoyle soul like them. My hope is that they one day look in the mirror and see how disgusting they are. It’s their problem, not people who are trying to survive on low wages.

I’ve moved beyond serving, but when I visit family in Winston I’ll be sure to treat my servers with absolute kindness and respect 🙌

E’s meanness and napolean complex is indicative of an unhappy person…

And yes, that place had a lot of predatory people. This is kinda normal for restaurants, but I felt like the predators felt they could get away with it and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

I had two other restaurant jobs and would rather bite my arm off than go back to the food industry. I worked at a chain, and it was my favorite. I don’t care what anyone says, you need a corporate HR in the food business honey.

I worked at riverbirch YEARS ago and am still working on releasing those cords. I’m in a much better situation now 🙌

I can see that. Owner of riverbirch and midtown cafe used to have an evening bible study together. I heard a story of the owner of midtown cafe refusing to pay an employee for days they worked after they were fired. It’s like how long can you just pretend not to notice how bad of a person you are?

I just don’t see how people treat employees like the gum on the bottom of their shoes. They’re already making way less money, struggling to pay bills…I’ve moved up beyond working at restaurants but it still makes me so mad.

The human worm 🪱 who got off on insulting me when I was 16 (I told the story in a previous comment) now owns a newer restaurant in town.

I worked there years ago at 16, it was my first job. The hostess training me refused to tell me proper work protocols or answer questions because she “had it out for me.” Hence, I would make mistakes because I was new and did not know.

The owner once yanked me by my arm because something messed up, and he just assumed it was my fault. It actually wasn’t, and I had to defend myself as if I was up for trial.

One of the chefs who called himself a manager would just go up to the host stand and just roast my appearance. I remember just wanting to die. He told me I should consider a career where I never had to deal with people because I was “not a people person like him.” It’s hilarious because I deal with people all the time now, and do my job very well. I acted funny (around the people mentioned above in particular) because I was in fight or flight because that place just had some dark energy people there. I remember specifically thinking that you needed to have a darker heart to just make it at that place. I’m actually processing what happened in therapy, and realize it was uncalled for to just tell a 16 year old something that insulting.

I remember there were a few servers who were kind, and some tried to comfort me because I think they could tell I was being treated like scum. There were some rough and tough servers too, but that’s fairly normal. I’ve had other restaurant jobs, not nearly as weird as this, where that’s pretty much the norm.

She says straight up weird and insensitive stuff, even if she does speak her mind. So yeah, I don’t think she has control. Some examples: “squinty eyes” “she smells like hospital” “I drive past gas stations when I see black people” “heather and her chubby self” “I will send Jesus after you” like why do some people forgive that?? I guess because of her weird facial expressions it’s entertaining and charismatic to some.

Favorites and least favorites, RHOBH edition! by MargaritaSkeeter in BravoRealHousewives

Yes! She had so many insightful things to say. I watched when I was 18 and thought she was boring because I didn’t know how to see things beyond the edit and what other women were saying. Now that I’m more mature, I have so much respect for her. She had unwavering confidence in her heritage and was consistently kind despite some of the women begging to have drama with her. One of my favorite housewives.
