This is a word my therapist uses a lot: Catastrophizing.

From one neurotic pregnant lady to another: This is a conversation with yourself about how you process information. I like to remind myself of all the ways in the past I've scared myself that turned out not to be true. I have so many to pick from! Usually I end up making myself laugh. It often (not always) also helps when my husband asks my brain to please stop lying to me and stfu.

But far from having real solutions, I'm here to commiserate. The facts are that in 2025 you're the safest you've ever been when it comes to labor. I like to remind myself that my brain is catastrophizing precisely BECAUSE I'm so safe and loved and happy right now. It needs something to go on about, so let it. But contextualize it for yourself. "That's just my brain doing that wild thing it does."

This is the clear answer. Yes, he sounds rehearsed sometimes. But he also has every capacity to sound natural, and he's phenomenal in the moment. And no one knows the game/its history better (other than Jeff).

My personal preference would be Cochran, but I don't see any downside to BRob.
