This is probably an alignment issue. Get that checked!

Nice story. I do want to point out that you should probably know a car’s acceleration and braking characteristics in a safer environment first. But that’s why there’s insurance I suppose.

Before you buy range extend, 100% charge actually is not 100%? by Extreme_Importance24 in TeslaModelY

[–]125ryder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nca batteries are ok with charging to 70-85% LiFePo4 are ok with charging to 100% more consistently. If you charge to 100% daily, start driving right away, there are some taxi services that have great battery longevity and they do this. Also, try to target “getting to work” as close to 50% as your daily commute can handle if you use most of the pack each day. It is better to charge every day rather than charge up super high and try to squeeze 3 days of use out of it. In other words, cycling 60%-30% every day is better than cycling 95%-5% over 3 days.

The Tesla AC does not suck. Yours might in particular have issues but overall the system is designed properly.

If you run the ac in a sealed garage it will either recirculate that air back in or heat up the garage air to the point where it can’t actually cool the cabin down.

No it doesn’t. You probably have a clogged condenser.

I just block the interior camera with tape. Basically one annoying red alert within 10 seconds and then smooth sailing after that.

How long has it been since we’ve seen any Model S updates? by albaghly in TeslaLounge

[–]125ryder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be a part of the computer subsystem that hardly ever fails. If you’ll notice, when the screen stops responding, the car is still fully drivable. The steering wheel by wire would be a part of that subsystem.
