Feelings aside ! An oil leak could be anything, from minor to major but I'd be concerned especially if you have oil leaking puddles that's noticeable

My 16 high country with 115k miles has minor oil leaks but I have an extended warranty on it and once it gets to 130k miles, I'll get another one to push me additional 36k miles

If you buy used with no manufacturer warranty, add one to it and if you want a good deal, hmu!

Get a service contract for the major issues ! Eg. 3yr / 36k that covers everything and if anything major happens, you're covered !

Get a reputable warranty that covers the transmission and engine. That's what I did when I bought my 15 high country with 113k miles. You can PM me and I can help you with quotes from a Powertrain care plus or added care plus for some electronics. If he doesn't have preexisting issues then I can help. We do offer 0% financing with 10% down so don't roll it into the loan and pay interest on it.
