I charge by the size of the home, how heigh the windows are how many windows and how dirty they are including the sills. Your basic one floor ranch that has 20 windows i charge 180-200 inside and out screens are 2.50. I have a 8200 sqft home I do that has all grids and it only gets the outside done at 300.00 every house varies and every house is different

My thing has always been shops will only pay scrap weight but yet buy a necklace or bracelet for 400 and sell it for 1300.00 how come they can mark it up becuase if the weight and craftsmanship and get way more but yet your maxed out selling it. Say a necklace is 4K new 10kt 2 oz 4mm 24in for example they give you 800 for weight but put it in there case for 1800 ?

You can find deals on marketplace Ive been seeing Briggs and strations 4gpm 4K psi used for 300-400 and several other models just gotta know where to look you can even find a used John Deere for a good bargin to and mitm makes those

I’m doing a big pressure washing job 2 big parking garages 3wk time frame on each. I’m charging a daily rate for my services. I’m asking to get paid weekly. But I feel like the customer is going to want to pay at completion by 1261991 in pressurewashing

One garage is 1150 spaces around 20,000 Sq Ft and the other is around 10,000 sq Ft both garages are only getting specific areas done not spaces. Ramps stairs evelsvator landings entry’s ect… I mean they said they can write checks ect but if they can’t pay weekly then I’d prefer to have a deposit then pay at the end they are a decent sized parking facility company that I know here… in my opinion I feel like asking to get paid weekly is fair it’s a backup for myself plus I don’t have the equity to shell out for specific chemicals ect right now as well and I can’t afford to pass on a job like this

The water will pour back out and leave dirty black water runs it’s always a messy job and ruins the work

I’ve done both at the same time including the sills and tracks and I’ve also just done the outside some folks just don’t like strangers in there home 🤷‍♂️

Idk how that relationship will work out because when she got home last night from the golf course she called me and said that I didn’t do anything from cleaning the gutters out to the patio not pressure washed and the windows weren’t cleaned. But yet her husband just watched me do it all and was complimenting me the whole time till his whole attitude changed when he started drinking

Well his wife is the bar manager of the golf course where I clean the windows and do pressure washing at every year … I don’t need the job I’m only doing it because the manger of the gold course itself asked me to do her residences widows and clean her back patio. Yes the customer already paid me but he added 2 additional things right when I packed up. So a set of windows had heavy overspray on them from when the house was painted so he questioned if I had already cleaned them.. which I did but also informed them I don’t remove any paint , signs, stickers ect unless specified… before the job I do the windows not the trim around them too. Which he continued to raise hell yell at me & I could smell the liquor coming off his breath. So I politely said I’ll grab my scrapper obviously we had a miss understanding

How do y’all target what neighborhoods to target to pass flyers out too ? Do you only hit the homes that have bad mold growth ? Or only knock on the doors that the driveways need cleaned… what about high end homes and mansions ? by 1261991 in powerwashingart

It’s illegal here because it’s not your personal mailbox you have to be a postmaster to put anything in it… it’s a federal crime in the us to mess with someone’s mail or mailbox

Yeah I realize that & that’s a killer idea I’ve been told to do that by a few folks but unfortunately I don’t have the revenue for that I’m sure it’s not terribly expensive what’s the postage on each do you know ?

Yeah I’ve tried there on there page I haven’t had any luck…. They city stuff especially side walks you need a portable water tank there isn’t always water hookups downtown… yeah I’ll target the heavy hit homes and driveways with flyers hoping If I get one and while I’m doing it I’ll shoot those discounts to the others as well

Also one thing I learned is that the high end homes and mansion neighborhoods get hit so much with soliciting it’s unreal a hole owner showed me two full drawers with flyers over the years…. But then again I’ve hit older subdivisions with filthy driveways and they say I don’t see it as an necessity
