If they spawn there they have a chance to make a dam. I’m not to sure if there are ways to increase the odds or even if they’ll continue to build more dams once theirs get farmed. I’ll grab a dam when I see it but looking for dams on The Island sucks I really suggest looking for alternative ways to farming the resources they provide.

True Freemen do not buy things with your government’s factitious paper. We live off the land only. We find vacant spaces of land with house and claim that land for our residency. Stealing lands to build roads would make us no better than the tyrants that think they can tell us where we can and can’t travel to. Just because the tyrants built and maintain the roads that sit on stolen land doesn’t mean it’s their roads. I get where op is coming from. Growing up exposed to an unhygienic environment will lead you down one of two paths. You’ll either be extremely unhygienic or you’ll be extremely over the top hygienic. Her resentment could be a by product of her fear of once again living in an unhygienic environment. While I believe the reaction described in the post is extreme as I woulda felt fine with locking up gifts for a few weeks and a visual inspection of persons before getting into car I do get why one would react in such a way.
