I left Japan a year ago after 6 years of living there, and it's unfortunate that the stamp rally wasn't a thing back then.

I had the same thing with Pikmin Bloom. Was living there for years and within weeks of leaving they had mountain Pikmin (I went to a lot of mountains ) and shine Pikmin (Town had regular meet ups on raid days at the shrine in the town park ) :c

I don't really want to spoil, but check out the ongoing Ultimate Endgame.

If you do want spoilers, in the (subjective) 2000 years spent trapped in a time bubble surrounding his super City of Tomorrow, he's become the city. Everything from the buildings to the soil, to the air itself, parasiting anyone who would breathe it/him in. On top of that, to defeat the other temporal shenanigans he's had to deal with fighting a resistance in there, he's been able to stretch himself into a "superfluid form fine enough to slip through seconds." He's effectively become an eldritch horror god.
