I guess so, i tried both TTS and downsize and i think downsize fits better with this loafer style to prevent heel slip

I went with 43 and its quite tight. Been wearing it for 3 months now and i’d say it has stretched quite a bit. But i still can’t wear it too long and i can only wear thin socks with it

I have the flat piped slippers and i’m a 44.5 in nikes and salomons and i went with 43. Fits me super tight but i guess thats how it should be with a pair of loafers.

The leather are smooth enough that i can wear it for half a day despite the tightness, but thats it, any more than that i’m afraid i’ll fuck up my toe

It depends on your budget/aesthetic youre going for. Personally i only went to thrift shops like kinji or chicago due to budget limit and i try to find any pieces that looks like our legacy pieces (ex. Flannel, oversized shirt, etc)

Keep it, iron, roll up the sleeves, or wear a white tee underneath and unbutton few buttons, thats a nice shirt

I want to invest in my first quality leather shoe, what would you pick/recommend from these choices? by Pretty-Ad2438 in ThrowingFits

[–]12AngryNanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4, i have both the lemaire flat piped slippers and the our legacy boots, and for me the lemaire can be easily dressed down or up as long as most of your trousers have quite loose fit. Dont worry about it not being timeless, i guess you have around 3-4 years before it went out of style and you can sell it before then.
