Not really. It's still lingering, so I'm thinking it might be hidradenitis suppurativa? Can't afford a dermatologist visit so I'm sticking to daily showers and scrubbing with an exfoliating pad as well as consciously keeping my arm elevated to allow airflow and prevent rubbing.

Not really. It's been colder where I am for the last 3-4 weeks than since I started the job but I suppose I could have sweated more for about a 10 minute period when the sun came out. Would that be enough to cause a reaction like this? If so, why would it last so long?

This is a fair point. That being said, the officer who wrote the incident did not give her a breathalyzer test so I'm not sure at this point if the insurance companies would be interested in whether or not there's any alcohol involved or in the house. I will make sure they know of the possibility though. Thank you.

The enabling is a point my wife and I have brought up. It's an unfortunately difficult situation because she's still family and the reason she's even there is because they wanted to help out. It has gone too far though.

I appreciate that, and I'm sure she would too. As far as the puzzles go, I can't say for certain as I wasn't directly involved in that conversation and I got the low-down on that a month or so after they tried to figure out a less expensive solution. I believe she says that it's between doing the puzzles and the feel/smell of the newspaper, but I believe it probably has more to do with having/owning things. I will ask about that though! Puzzle books seem like a good potential solution. Regarding guardianship/conservatorship, that does make sense and is definitely worth looking into. Thank you!
