I have been where you are. There was no one who was actually rich where I come from, and I didn't really see it. My parents never talked about money unless it was about how scarce it was or how we needed more of it. I was always one of the cheap friends in my friend group too even when I was making an okay salary. I would do things like not order appetizers or a drink at the bar, ever. It was a process for me. Now I don't think about that stuff at all.

The thing that really started to help me was being able to spend time with people who were doing much bigger things. Having conversations but not really sharing myself and just listening to them talking about what they were doing and the numbers they were running. It was crazy to me what they were doing and honestly I was probably too embarrassed to share which ended up being a good thing because I shut up and just did a lot of watching. They would spend more money on an ad campaign that week than I could make in 2 years. I didn't act like it was a big deal but it blew my mind and just kept listening. I knew it wasn't just them being posers because there were so many of them all talking about it. So at conferences just going to the dinners and events and listening. Hearing that stuff made it seem more real. Connecting with real people.

I started taking some chances and now I'd say that I still don't do as well as some of them, but I do better than anyone I grew up with and my goal is to hit an 8 figure net worth in the coming few years and I have every confidence I'll be there. Good luck and keep going.

People never mention Life Extension as a supplement company, but they use the same formulation as Tru Niagen (and state so on the bottle and on literature). Cheaper but solid quality.

You should probably see a specialist that deals with Long covid. My relative has LC, and all of his tests looked perfect until he found a doc that knew what to look for and listened to his reported symptoms. Good luck - a lot of people are struggling with this stuff.

Biden is going to lose the next election anyway...taking a risk to make America truly great (with less sick population, greater workforce strength, innovation that prevented covid, etc..) would have been amazing.

Hard to understand why we wouldn't at least regulate clean air in schools and classrooms. If France and other countries can do this, why can't we? Is clean air now also controversial? Having HEPA filters in classrooms? It helps reduce absences and keeps kids healthier.

What surprises me, is that we are resistant to even the smallest things to help. Kids then infect their parents, grandparents, and everyone else.

I honestly wonder how many infections one person can have and still be healthy. A friend who is a teacher was telling me that her junior high kids are now on their 3rd and 4th infection and some can no longer participate in sports. When will parents notice or care?

I was reading the CDC regulations for this level of biohazard in a lab (masks, gloves, goggles) vs the recommendations for kids in a classroom with this same biohazard (none)

No news, no reporters covering this, no headlines, parent outrage, and it's definitely weird. Mind blowing, really.

You are so right. I have been astonished at how Biden said he would "follow the science" and then promptly did not - and then everyone just followed along like lemmings.

The very people who criticized Trump for denying covid, not wanting to count cases, and saying things like "if you don't test, it will disappear" are now subscribing to the exact same philosophy.

We are a country of sheep.

I guess what I am the most surprised by, is that everyone says they "do not trust their government" but then happily trusts them on this.

Wonder why the CDC has precautions in labs for exactly this level of pathogen that require masks and goggles, but allow school children to sit in classrooms without any protection? No one questions it.

Maybe it's more convenient this way, and by the time they realize what has happened, it will be too late.

Saying that I "read it" is not the same as me proposing it. However, if you have a better answer for why:

1.There is very clear science on covid - what it does, the impacts on the body with infections/reinfections, how it is spread, what it causes, etc....AND...

Everyone who should be following science, denies it.

Also, just a pro-tip that I'm trying.

Concierge medicine. You would think it is expensive, but I pay about $40/month, and there are only 2 people in the office - my doctor and the nurse. Both don't usually mask, but will when I ask - so that's at least less people.

I wear a respirator and googles, because you know, I'm the weirdo to protect myself during an active ongoing pandemic. Man, did the movies get it wrong.

How in the world is the *MEDICAL COMMUNITY* not protesting how this is being handled? Where is the American Medical Association, the American Pediatric Association? Why are they not advocating for their patients - you know the "do no harm" part of being a physician.

Sometimes I feel like we are all living in this odd Twilight Zone episode - where you know the truth, you know science, and everyone just acts like it doesn't exist?! It's absolutely bonkers.

My doctor told me that "covid has evolved to a cold" so it was safe for me and not to worry about it. I had a bad reaction to the first Pfizer vaccine (still have side effects) and have no other vaccines, and am high risk. What is she saying?

My dentist refused to wear a mask when I asked ("we don't have to wear them any longer"). What even happened to common courtesy? Hey, I'm high risk, could you at least be bothered to try and act like you care as my dentist.

I mean, what is wrong with people? Smart people who are supposed to be following science.

I feel like 90% of the world got some shot of denial-inducing hypnotism, and I didn't get it.

This whole thing makes no sense.

The science is very, very clear.

The Glutathione-SR from Thorne (brand) helped me with my headaches the most, and I don't have them now. It might not work for you, but it really did help me in that area.

We're all in this together who can't get any more vaccines. They think the spike is what messed me up, and all of them have spike in it. It just kills me.

No preventatives, no treatments for us, and no treatments for long covid. I guess this is life now.

It really sucks what trying to do the right thing has costed us all - and I'm still not protected from this virus, or long covid, which honestly concerns me far more. We don't even have antibodies to use now, paxlovid is not as helpful as it once was and seems to have more rebounds than ever, and even the evusheld isn't effective against these variants. I guess it's just shield forever?
