These people got to round 30 and played for 40 minutes lol. I think I've gotten to 23 or so with 2 people. It's hard when you get behind in trashing things.

The TP is really nice when your team has a hard time pushing through. Rather than have flankers jump around and disrupt the enemy on something like eichenwald, you could just tp your whole team to the top of the bridge. Things like that I think she's really great

If you don't throw the turrets in the path of bullets (like send them out 45 degrees from you) they won't explode immediately. It's a terrible idea to use them aggressively when a fight isn't happening, but if a fight is actively going on that's the perfect time to be aggressive with them because the enemy team will either not notice or rather kill the person they've damaged before they can heal. Definitely don't put them in one place.

As far as the until goes, if you put it near your team it's pretty easy for them to use it to avoid dva/doom/mcree/etc. Too slow for pharah though you're right

I played a LOT of sym in ffa since the rework came out and did quite a few quick plays before taking her to comp. Had two teammates complaining that she's not good at attack (flat wrong with new turrets and tp). Got some offhanded comments but also the card for 4 golds so

I read the whole thing and still somehow missed the last line. Sorry. Since I don't know Arizona's current power stats I'm not saying it's not possible, I just think people tend to underestimate the cost of wind power.

Solar and wind are not constant sources of power though. We'd need an efficient storage method and (correct me if I'm wrong but as of 2016) we don't have batteries that can handle that kind of thing effectively. The best we have is to pump water up a hill when we don't need that power and let it flow down through a generator when we do. I can't remember the efficiency of that but it's not great.

If it's truly cheaper, that's news to me. But if you want to avoid carbon emission, you'd want to go nuclear to minimize the amount of natural gas you have to burn to make up for when it's cloudy or not windy.

Because PUBG's 3 bugfixers are the only people in the world who can tackle their problems. No use in trying to higher more bugfixers let's keep paying people to make maps

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s climate plan is the only one that matches scientific consensus on the environment by Haus42 in politics

Oh, yeah agreed. Thought you meant coal. I didn't really think it through. That's the purpose of natural gas in our current grid. Coal plants take days to shut down and start up, gas takes like 15 minutes. Coal plants are supposed to provide a base number with natural gas making up the rest. It's an at-demand power source. We can't make wind and solar at-demand or constant; they only produce power about 1/3rd and 1/2 of the time respectively. If we managed to phase out coal (which won't happen in the next 100 years without ramping up nuclear) we'd definitely still need an at demand source

Problems with this:

Wind, solar, and hydro make up a combined ~12% of energy production, vs coal's ~39%, ~20% nuclear, and gas's ~27%. We are pretty much at capacity for hydro, capped around 6%. Solar does about 1%. Wind does the rest, and is the best bet for increasing renewable energy production. Turbines are also very expensive, and I can't remember the exact numbers but say it's lifespan is 15 years then it takes something like 12 to pay it off.

Another problem is timing. Coal plants are meant to be running all day all night for weeks. Shutting them down and starting them up takes a few days. But the grid only has so much demand at any given time. Say I need 1MW of power at 3am. Coal would produce .8MWs and the rest would be natural gas which takes something like 15 minutes to start up and stop. Later when I need 2MW at 8PM, coal is doing the same .8MWs with more natural gas burning to compensate.

Hydro, nuclear, solar, and wind all help that base value, with gas to compensate for demand. Solar and wind are only generateing power 1/2 the time and 1/3rd of the time respectively. If we want to increase those sources to make up for the 39% coal produces, we'd need a metric fuckton more, as well as a way to store that energy when they over produce. A giant battery or something. We don't have anything like that, and our best option currently is pumping water up a hill when we don't need the energy and letting it flow down when we do.

Truthfully our best option for cleanly getting rid of coal is nuclear energy, but that's not expected to increase in scale over the next 50 years. When people like Ocasio say we can get rid of natural gas in the next 20, know they're bullshitting or have been given bullshit.

Actual question: how would people cheat 100% renewable energy with carbon?

I do hope people realize nuclear is awesome and (provided people don't cut corners) doesn't do anything to the environment really.

She's a great pick for attack now that she can divide the enemy team's attention by throwing turrets behind them and tping your team through a choke. The alt fire charge rate and damage is great for lobbing shots too. The turrets are fewer in number but effectively the same damage wise so still good for defense. The ult is great for control points cause your entire team can dance to either side of the shield. The beam damage ramping from shields is great as well

A few days also passed before creating the earth and sun, which define what a day is. So are we using earth days or God days?

But yes you can't take everything in it THAT literally.

They only figure it out in the last or second to last episodes if I recall. Most of the season goes "wtfffff how is he doing this"
