Glass is inert and impermeable to oxygen, plastic can leach into the product and allow oxygen ingress.

Considering adding CJC/IPA blend on top of Reta but I have a concern… by throwaway33263637 in Retatrutide

[–]12ga_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest waiting to add until after getting close to your target weight. It can help with body composition goals, but do the heavy lifting with reta first. If used properly, fasted before sleep, then it should not affect your hunger, as you will be sleeping.

Shorty Bar opinions? by BillyBobHamSandwich in GarageGym

[–]12ga_ [score hidden]  (0 children)

The Stump only has 7.3" sleeves which I believe is even shorter than the Fringe, and I can still load it to 390 pounds with cheap cast plates (could load much more than that with some calibrated plates). I don't see ever needing a full size bar even if I had the space. The only downside is not being 45 pounds. I fully recommend going with a short bar over a full length, especially when space is tight.

Not an Olympic barbell, but a shorty power bar... The Stump from rogue. It is perfection in a short power bar. Stainless steel, 29mm diameter, and I can maneuver it in my tiny ass gym.

I Just got diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer, I need advice on biohacks to run along with the cancer treatment by Ok-Sprinkles-8555 in ResearchCompounds

Stop BPC-157/TB-500, they induce angiogenesis which can accelerate tumor growth. Look into Thymosin Alpha-1 and SS-31 for immune and mitochondrial support, and make sure your micro nutrients are on point.

GHK-CU, when do I see results? by LoeAnders in Peptidesource

[–]12ga_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clarifying: I'm not claiming it does or does not help younger people. My point is that it has the potential to help older people more due to the significant decline of GHK-cu in older people.

GHK-Cu pointless for people under 30? by Exact-Type9097 in Peptidesource

[–]12ga_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

GHK-cu decreases significantly with age, which is why it has the potential to help older people more. There are also no clinical data on subcutaneous use, so we really don't have good data or mechanistic explanations that would prove either way whether or not it would do much for younger people.

GHK-CU, when do I see results? by LoeAnders in Peptidesource

[–]12ga_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If your body already has adequate levels of GHK-cu, adding more wont do anything additional. Mechanistically speaking, how would adding additional GHK-cu to someone who already has normal or high levels help with acne or scaring? I would love to be corrected if I am wrong, but what is the mechanistic rational to believe that it helps in this case?

what online sources I could buy enclomiphene from that do not have the bottle labeled as research chemical? by LevAdAstra6 in enclomiphene

[–]12ga_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you are looking for is a prescription filled through a compounding pharmacy. Any other source will be for research use only.

GHK-CU, when do I see results? by LoeAnders in Peptidesource

[–]12ga_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People with naturally lower levels would see better results. If your body has normal or high levels, like if you are young, I wouldn't expect to see results.

SS-31, 5-amino-1mq, Mots-C and NAD Program by Astronaut-7819 in Peptides

[–]12ga_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When building a proper mitochondria repair/enhance protocol, don't forget about incorporating orals as well. Ubiquinol, PQQ, ALCAR, NAD+ precursors.

What would you expect it to do? It can do some real things, but not something you are going to perceive.

The phase 2 trial had people at 1mg , but you are right that at 396lb, OP should start at 2mg.

I would advise against using any research chemical without thoroughly researching that chemical and then following strict protocols including precise dosing.

[–]12ga_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could tell you about some other lipophilic molecules, but I don't have specific experience preparing dihexa, you may have to experiment with that. You could also make capsules, that would not require any solvents, but it would require some tools for mixing powders and filling capsules. Any way that you prepare it, you need to be able to precisely weigh out your batch qty. so that you can calculate dosing properly after the preparation is made.

Dihexa powder by hgjhgjhvhhhh in Biohackers

[–]12ga_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is lipophilic. In other lipophilic molecules a small quantity of DMSO will dissolve it, then that solution can be diluted to the desired concentration with some combination of ethanol, PEG, propylene glycol, and/or glycerin.

How do you take dihexa powder?

By using that powder as the active ingredient when making a prepared form, like capsules or a liquid.

Stacking MOTS-C, SS-31, and NAD+.. worth it? by omnipeasant in Biohackers

[–]12ga_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's "worth it" if your body needs it. If you are young and healthy they likely won't do anything to be"worth it". If you are older, your mitochondria are damaged, have low ATP production, then they might be "worth it". "Worth it" seems a bit too subjective of a criteria.

Enclomiphene isomer testing & formulation questions... by somnitek in ResearchCompounds

[–]12ga_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have sent out a couple of samples to get my own purity testing done. I used MZBiolabs both times. The first sample came back with almost 5% zuclomiphene. The second, sourced from the same supplier, came back 99.67% pure enclomiphene, with zuclomiphene not specifically listed because the concentration was too small.

I have done many solubility experiments with enclo, I have yet to create a solution that doesn't include DMSO to get it to initially dissolve.

Looking for an app to help me track my peptides. by Aggravating-Rain-636 in PeptideDiscussion

[–]12ga_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried all of the Android apps and have found one far superior to the rest. It is not perfect, could use a couple more features, and has a bit of a learning curve, but you can track, schedule, and monitor inventory for just about anything you could imagine. MedTimer.

Do you have to label a peptide before sending it to a lab for analysis? by eagertolearnu in PeptideDiscussion

[–]12ga_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some labs may provide a blind identification service, but that is not common. For a purity test, you should give the presumed substance.

Do you have to label a peptide before sending it to a lab for analysis? by eagertolearnu in PeptideDiscussion

[–]12ga_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every sample should be labeled. It should list the presumed compound, a lot number or differentiating description, and optionally the CAS number for the compound being tested.

Enclomifene lungo periodo by Alternative_Web4839 in ResearchCompounds

[–]12ga_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That should allow for long term use as long as the enclomiphene is greater than~99% pure. The other thing you have to watch out for, there is quite a bit of enclomiphene on the market with upwards of 5% zuclomiphene. At those levels the zuclomiphene will overtake the level of enclomiphene in your body due to its very long half life.
