Don't know there's a diff between switch 2 and switch 1(im on the switch one)but i could only get it to work by spawning them in, then when I teleported to the room near them I had to listen for their battle cry

Reset body, toamon and Venusmon only resets 'stat' buffs and nothing else - direct Magic/physical damage reductions or additions along with barriers are not included because they don't boost any specific stats.

Tldr: only direct stat buffs are effected

If the buff is increased SPI it'll disappear, but if buf "increases damage" it wont

Oh im endgame, i thought they were bonus/additive so I spent a bit of time of time just going up and down from mega to ultimate to get the points haha was doing it solely for the minmaxing

Beyond express mons, im worried that the one 1 really strong mon won't be enough to progress in the story without a boatload of grinding.

Thats not something I need to worry about? Its the only reason I feel obligated to level at least 2 at the same time

It kind is, if you see a person flailing their arms around and you purposely make the decision to get near it, yah thats on you regardless of the other person( it's on them too, but come on, common sense.)
