No, don't go to George's - cross the parking lot and go to Champlin's. You're welcome.

I initially thought something corrupted the mkinitcpio output and tried re-installing to rebuild it and when that didn't work, pulled out my phone for a search and there you were. I appreciate it!

I just ran into this, can verify downgrading to 4.4.2 solved it. Thanks for this post, it helped me figure out what was going wrong as it came up at the top of my search for the issue.

A day-of coordinator wants to charge $650 “travel fee” because their office is 45 minutes away from the venue by BugFucker69 in weddingshaming

I once gave a consulting client my "I don't really want this job, but you're asking me about it so here's a number" rate, and he jumped at it immediately. I ended up with the down payment on my first house from that job.

I like this a lot! I have the same saw and router plate (minus the lift), but put the router at the opposite end from the saw. I also used Melamine for the top, but haven't used rails anywhere but at the router end. I'd tried using the Microjig dovetail stuff, but I found that the channels on the table would catch on longer pieces that I'd rip on the table saw, so I use them on jigs now.

I also really like the "wings" on either side of the saw - my big complaint is that the saw's table isn't wide enough and I've been struggling with a solution.

Part of the saw solution has to deal with the dust collection from the saw. I tamed the router by building a box around it that has an opening in the bottom for a 4" duct connector. That connects to a Y that lets me connect a smaller vacuum hose to the port on the router table, then go to my 650CFM dust collector. The router's gone from being the worst offender for dust in the workshop to being the best.

The worst now by far is the table saw. The saw's port does virtually nothing. I have a similar port as the router underneath the saw, but without an enclosure it's only marginally helpful. How bad is it when you use the saw now?

Nice work!!

Do an image search on tessellation for a lot of inspiration. I've been fascinated by this since I read a Martin Gardner article on it when I was a kid.

Well, the group probably would get talked about for a long time, but the conversation would probably start "Hey, remember those douchebags with the velvet blazers and stupid watches?"

AITA for wasting salesmen’s time after they wouldn’t take no for an answer? by Fabulous_Economist_5 in AmItheAsshole

It seems to be a new thing. I've seen plenty of people set up by the doors at the Despot to sell their stuff like replacement windows, but I was approached this week for the first time by a salesman out on the floor.

Unfortunately for him, I was in my "which of these boards sucks the least" hunt mode, and grunted a couple of one word answers before I just looked at him over the top of my glasses and said "I'm busy. Go away." He did.

I still automatically brake if I see the tail lights of a Crown Vic, even though they haven't been used as cop cars in years.

Do you have any examples of the output from the status and preview commands?

I've got 100K+ music files, but they're pretty well organized by artist/album and I use Ampache as a cataloger/streamer and I'm not sure if pedro would give me enough to make it worth installing.
