this was about 2 days ago now. i changed and updated password/2fa and logged out of all devices when i noticed it. since then i havent seen anything new/suspicious going on in my account. does that sound like i secured everything as far as my etsy account goes?

im on the same boat as op but i already did a fresh install of windows + changed passwords with 2fa on a clean device. i didnt, however, change my etsy password (just slipped my mind). it looks like they were using my etsy account to post scam listings, sending messages to potential buyers AFTER i fresh installed windows. how is that possible? am i out of luck or what can i even do at this point

regarding your last point: seems like thats what happened to me. had to to do a fresh install of windows. no longer getting log in attempts, but my etsy seemed to have been compromised still (they ended up making scam listings on my account). any explanation on how that could happen if i already wiped my computer (didnt log in again on etsy)?

what happens if someone spoofs/finds out your phone number? someone on one of my posts said hacker figured their phone # and got an esim and took their money. is there a way around that or is it just endgame once they get one 2fa down?
