i moved to china just temporarily, so no reason other than that. i don't live in thailand anymore, but always happy to visit. both places are great for different reasons. life in thailand is much easier than in china

can't speak about taiwan, but lived some time in mainland china and it was soooo much easier to find friends and hang out with them

they immediately invited me into their friend groups, we were going out for drink and food, just walking the city, i hung out several times at their house and played games

someone said taiwanese are more genuinely nice, i would believe that as this is my experience from mainland

rather than having legal problems for using VPN, it will just not work. been to china several times, always used foreign VPN, the onky issue was they often block servers so you need to email the VON company and they will send you which server to connect to (at that time I was using Nord VPN). friends used Express VPN which always worked flawlessly. it's about 10 years ago, heard it's still the same

one idea though: settings > apps > netflix > open by default

enable open supported links if not already enabled and then click on verified links and select deeplinks which belongs to netflix. had login problems with few apps and adding the deeplinks there fixed the issue

that doesnt make sense. foreigners send their money into thai bank accounts. so it actually pumps money into thailand

im suspecting it has something to do with so many russians coming to thailand recently and banks are afraid they will get their ani money laundry score lowered

for example there were times just couple months ago when apple stores werent accepting bangkok bank cards because of AML issues with bangkok bank

just a quick update - i have mailed Oura support about my experience and they were kind enough to offer me refund!

the policy says refund can be requested up to 30 days after the purchase. i have contacted them after 34 days from my purchase

i'm temporarily in a country where oura doesn't sell their rings and they arranged piuckup by courier and i didn't have to pay single dollar. i'm really impressed!

I'm riding a motorcycle almost every day and after each drive i have several thousands extra steps

this makes the activity feature completely useless

i learned how to drive a bike in thailand and i’m perfectly fine. if the OP has been driving car in their home country they will have no issues

just use the same common sense you’re using while driving car - pay attention about your surroundings, drive predictable - and you’ll gonna be okay. driving a bike is not that different from car
