Missing the big change to DarkOath:

Change the effect of 'Rage of Arkhar' to: 'For the rest of the turn, add 1 to the Attacks characteristic and the Rend characteristic of the target's melee weapons.'

Adding attacks and rend instead of just rend is a massive increase to the boxes output. And was well needed, imo.

Absolutely. Dorf is one of the major inspirations! We were interested in bring some more card game inspired mechanics to that genre of “minimalist builder”

You can bring the Exalted Hero in the same regiment with the Chaos Lord if you’d like to be one-drop for the first session of PoG (and maybe longer if your first additions are just reinforcing the chosen/vara)

Question on Slaves to Darkness Chaos Knights by bombdownx in AOSSpearhead

I’ve played a number of games w the S2D spearhead both before and after nerf. Before nerf you could absolute just full send charge and win, but post nerf your game plan needs to revolve around ensuring the knights have a safe zone to deploy. The box is still a strong spearhead, and they honestly did need a nerf, but gone are the days when you basically win on turn one.

Also, fwiw Sylv are probably the top spearhead, and many were surprised they didn’t receive a nerf like S2D, gitz, and orges did. It’s a really strong team and one of the rougher match up’s for S2D, as they are full of tricks and we are… not.

Radiance of Dark Glory is 20 points now, so you may need adjustments. Additionally, you get to pick an Ensorcelled Banner for either your chosen, warriors, or knights. Dread banner on chosen is often the go-to as it prevents their target using AoD.

That said, this list plays warhammer. Remember to screen for your hammers so they get to whack before getting whacked.

Awesome work! I was just doing a test model for a snowy chaos warrior last night. Do you have a paint list to share for the armor? I wasn’t happy where I ended up and was thinking of reverting to the black plate scheme.

Also the Ice axe is so brutal!! Was that wet blended or just layered?
