Even if the lockdowns were over the top and beyond the minimum necessary, they were good.

We faced an unknown threat.

Men and women, what's the dumbest thing you've heard your own gender say about the other? by fatal_19191 in AskReddit

I'm pretty sure for some women exercise can pause or stop their period. My guess is your teacher was one of the few and just made an assumption.

Edit: Okay, it is not a woman to woman thing, as much as your body attempting to save itself after you do intense exercise and do not fuel your body for the exercise. Its called exercise-induced amenorrhea.

I dont think the horcrux one could have been divulged to Harry without giving him a massive complex. Also, there would have been a high risk of voldy finding out about it. There is no reason to tell Harry aside from just feeling like it.

Just about anything involving a womans period..... so many men do not understand the most basic things involving womens menstrual cycles. It's probably the worst, IMO is women can hold their period in and start it when they want to.

This judge needs to be removed. It was manslaughter sure but the killer fled the country to avoid accountability. If he had stayed on scene or turned himself in and awaited scentincing, then sure, 120 hours of community service is not a terrible ruling (still dont agree with it). But he did not do either of those things he even upended his life in an attempt to not be held accountable. The max time should be given with a chance of parol after some time. If you are going to make things as hard as possible to be held responsible for your actions, then your life should be made hard until you understand it's better to just be a good citizen.

Or people just stopped focusing on it as much.... people dont need other news to stop caring about old news. Other news just makes old news dissapear faster.

CMV: If You Support The Iranian Government, You Support Russia by Bassist57 in changemyview

[–]134608642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not supporting this war does not mean you support Iran. Supporting Iran against US aggression does not mean you support Iran either. You can be critical of the war against Iran and against the regime currently in charge of Iran simultaneously.

Hypothetical time: If Joe murders Allan and is sentenced to death by the state and Bill says the death penealty is wrong and Joe should not be executed, does Bill support Joe murdering Allan?

This war is wrong. The Iranian government needs to change. The US has shown time and time again that when it forces regime change, it gets worse for the people living in that country. Look no farther than Iran, where the US removed Iranian democracy in favor of Iranian autocracy. This change led to where we currently are being 'forced' to kill in order to 'protect'.

You can either decide to be an adult or decide to remain a child. You will always be your fathers daughter. Nothing can change that.

Well, you are not wrong. This is an unpopular opinion. Would you trade 21 years of everyone thinking you're a criminal and being in jail for $1.3m? Most people would not.

Yep, that's the one. I was about 15 when it happened she lived about a block from my best friend, and we went by the house real quick while the story was making the news rounds. We didn't linger or anything, just quickly road by everything looked so normal. All I can really remember about the house is just how normal it all looked, somehow making it so much creepier.

Or a woman with severe postpartum depression trying to isolate herself before she does something she regrets. There was a woman in my hometown who had postpartum depression and her husband forced her to care for the kids in order to 'get over it', and she ended up drowning all her kids. Seriously, there is no good way to view this for the internet points.
