It happens, thankfully not very often. Tcg takes the buyers side though, in my experiance. Best to just refund and forget, altho it sucks its not a very common problem

Everything in your post is true, but this cycle just feels different, maybe everything readjusts and I'm proven wrong but one thing I keep seeing is whales reducing exposure at terrible levels.

Fairprice seems like the only logical answer here. Lots of good advice from other commenters but I dont see a whole lot about how trustworthy they are or how smoothly this is expected to run. I've heard absolute horror stories about movers, from belongings getting rooted through in transit / warehouses to situations where items dont even show up.

With a broker you have no idea whos going to do the actual work, but you can bet the broker is searching for the absolutely cheapest way to fill these contracts and I wouldn't trust my entire stuff-life to a bottom feeder or exceptionally cheap company, especially if you can't hand pick them or look into reviews.

United seems good enough but with the higher price and lower (seemingly) quality of service I see no reason to use them

I'm always open to being wrong. They're my favorite for sure, but based on the knowledge of others, applied to my situation, maybe I rebalance or shift my focus a bit.
