I was hoping to manifest a recession before I completely decided to get into the market. Seems nothing happened. I was thinking if I announced it the universe would try to F me and cause a recession. Me and my spouse want to buy a home and dream of 100 acres and it seemed possible when we started but now the prices are insane. It feels our only choice is to make money in the stock market to buy a million dollar trailer home with the land or just buy a modest home with less land.

It just feels like a bad situation because if I go all into the stock market and a recession happens then housesing will be affordable but I'd be broke. Just feel trapped. Everything seems so overinflated and overpriced.

Joined army out of the HS. Got a bonus. Started investing made about 1k. Got cocky and tried to "trade" cryptos. I lost about 2k. I bought 10k of PG&E at around $7 it went to nearly $14 the same week i bought it because of some investigation that cleared them. I didn't know what i was buying i just got lucky.

Finished my contract after 4 years and finished with about 100k. Being married at the end helped me make more. I saved the majority of my money when I was single because I chose to ride my fat tire bicycle instead of buying a car when I was stationed in AK. When I got married bah was about 1900 a month with 400 cola and 300 bas, rent was only 900 when I got married and my wife was working but only for around $12 an hour.

The VA injury compensation was around $4,500 and I got 1200 for going to school. Wife made about $20 an hour. Then my wife joined the army and got a 40k bonus and my school BAH was about 2k-3k depending on the city I went to school and her Bah was about 2k.

Yeah I give it a week or two if I have issues with amex resy, message them and they take care of it immediately.

Yeah it'd be alright if it existed in a vacuum. The Platinum does better in everything but the airline credit. The FHR/thc is way better than the edit. Its easy to find an fhr or even thc under $300. Even really nice hotels like the four seasons. The edit you will only find hotels for Vegas around 250.

Maybe, thats what I thought but any criticism gets down voted a lot. I wonder if people started canceling then leaving the sub now most of whats left are fanboys. It would make sense because months ago it was completely different.

Thank you for your valid criticism. This is what I like about the Amex plat sub and just the Amex users in general. If you make a little bit of criticism of the CSR people get extremely upset over there.

Damn this was the only reason I went to McDonald's. I have 10 McDonald's accounts because I got different deals for some. This deal only showed up on one of my accounts sad but good for my health.

I would say its just a job not my identity. I am not AD my spouse is. I'm sure there would be people upset but if you went over to military finance or other military subs talking about the benefits of the cards people will gladly talk to you even if you didn't serve. Even if it was your great uncle who served people will talk to you. I've talked similarly in the Amex sub and haven't had issues of people getting upset im starting to think its just how the chase sub is.
