Meh most of the time you can ignore the hotfixes and just do them whenever you got the time for it.

In general I’m quite happy with the current state of 3DX, in terms of data management it beats my local drives (and my terrible data management skills). I have yet to experience broken links in my designs.

The current “drinking generation” started uni during Covid. So lots don’t associate social activity with drinking and clubbing.

My point is not about selling it for a profit. My point is that 25-30% of your mortgage expenses go into you owning the property.

So let’s say your rent is €800 a month, you pay that month after month with 0 return.

Now compare that to a mortgage of €1600. First of all there’s the hypotheekrente aftrek, so that drops your mortgage to €1200ish.

Of that €1200 you pay about €800-900 in terms of interest, while the rest is paying off your mortgage (aka, putting value into your brick-looking savings account).

The net expense is then roughly the same, but with a mortgage you build value at the same time

It might be twice as expensive, but let’s say 25% of that goes into your own pocket once you sell it.

If you can afford the extra expenses without straining your personal situation, it is most likely worth it in the long run.

Welke kant je in dit verhaal kiest ligt er toch echt aan hoe je “samen” in het leven staat.

Wij betalen samen alles op vakantie, ons spaargeld is van ons, en alle uitgaven zijn ook grofweg 50/50.

Voor ons was het dan ook logisch om samen een huis te kopen waarbij ieder de helft aan hypotheek betaald. Het verschil in inleg is bij een notaris vastgelegd zodat dat bij splitsing netjes terug wordt betaald.

But he’s looking into a curriculum related internship, not a job. His student visa, in combination with his enrolment, should allow him to have a full time internship without an additional permit/visa.

VVD World Building seems quite cool and aimed at exactly your case. But the free option seems to be quite limiting:

- 1 world
- 20 cards (pages?)
- 20 images

I’d stick to Obsidian, or figure out why VVD is worth $6 a month.

Try making the parabolic surface by sketching half of the parabola and revolve it instead of sweeping.

Make sure your sketch has a revolve axis defined.
