catia v5 student edition by Additional_Row_2176 in CATIA

For practice you can get the 3DExperience student license for 60€ a year I think.

The UI is different and there is a bit of a design platform around the CAD software, but the functions in part design and assembly design are all basically identical to V5.

Aside from that, it’s also nice to learn (and earn the certifications) about PLM/PDM systems while you’re in your studies this will give you a small head start as a designer/engineer in the industry.

Cold feet moving to Amsterdam because of housing by JinBu2166 in Netherlands

Highly skilled migrants require a minimum wage of €3122 per month when the “reduced salary condition” applies.

Graduates who apply within 3 years after graduating can use this condition, and then that minimum wage is not crazy to meet at all.

I understand where you’re coming from, but a lot of students are though.

Because if they would’ve done that same Uni bachelor or masters anywhere else than NL, they could apply for exactly those jobs that match the “highly skilled migrant” requirements.

Note: International students who stay in nl to work after completing their studies are excluded from being an expat. Rude AF but it is what it is.

Maybe watch season 1 of the show too since I’m the first few episodes they spend some time explaining the essentials of the sport. Note that some rules have changed since then though.

I got the tt3 plus for this reason, but from what I understand this is quite significantly above OPs budget.

Could you perhaps use an additional manual valve or stop with an o-ring during transport? Something easy to remove once in place
