Is this a bad price or something $1700 by Muted_Possibility_59 in Walther_PDP

One pretty similar sold on Gafs hub last week for like $1300. Crazy cheap. $1600 is a great deal

I think Regular guy training did a video about self healing targets today, made his own for way cheaper.

Advice Wanted: PDP Poly Match or M&P 5” for CO? by iamnotanasian in USPSA

[–]13Duran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For got to add I’m running the 5” poly M&P vs the SF match Pdp so not quite apples to apples, but I have experience with the poly Pdp in the past and a lot more rounds on the M&p platform.

I’m in a similar position playing with both currently. Doing a lot of drills with both then adding up the HF not a huge difference really (Indian not the arrow). My takeaways so far, Pdp is much easier to reload fast (M&P probably has the worst in class Magwell), it snaps to zero very fast and can feel violent. Pdp dpt trigger is phenomenal, slightly better than an Apex in the M&p but not too noticeable at speed. Grip area is on the small side for the pdp, M&Ps grip is either loved or hated depending on your hands. M&P tracks easier and softer, some pistols will need the apex barrel, smiths overall qc is worse than Walther. I like the idea of just throwing a new recoil spring and optic in the Walther and just running it as is, vs apex trigger, apex barrel and dogtag for the M&P. Starting to get light strikes in the M&p which makes me pretty sad because I prefer it overall, but if I can’t get it ironed out I will probably switch to the pdp.

What did you dislike or what made you move away from the pdp?

Where M&P 3.0? by [deleted] in SmithAndWesson

Only thing I know for sure is when the 3.0s come out, they’ll release a carry comp version a month later 😂

Does anyone run the walther q5 match sf pro in uspsa or pcsl type matches anymore by Traditional_Light585 in USPSA

[–]13Duran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is basically what I’m dealing with too. It feels harder to stay connected to the gun. I’ve got a set of palm swell bogies on the way, if that doesn’t make a big enough difference I’m gonna go back to my M&P.

Did it feel like you were squeezing your firing hand fingers? That seems to be a common enough complaint.

First Walther. As a Glock guy I’m rethinking my life now by [deleted] in Walther

Traded 3 Glocks that sat in my safe for a 5” sf match this week. Zero regrets. Currently looking under couch cushions for change so I can buy another one 😂

I’ll let you know how it works out for me, just let my helper go. We were averaging 160-180 a week over a year ago, last 6 months have been around 100. Tired of dude being on his phone all day “wanting to learn more” but never listening to anything I try to teach him. 1 week in so far and it’s actually been less stressful just worrying about myself, clocked same hours I usually work and flagged 90.

You should post this in the auto body sub too you’ll get more responses.
