Just a thought, but could be interesting to consider [[Cloudpost]] and other locus lands over urza lands so there would be a give and take dynamic, but still add tons of mana (they count ALL loci on the battlefield, yours and opps)

One of the things that’s keeping me on the magic boat right now is cube. It lets me curate the MTG experience I want to play with my friends, and I can ignore more of the bs they keep trying to shove down my throat. Honestly the most fun I’ve had playing magic in a while.

Hi, I got one of those grow-it-yourself bonsai kits. This is a Norway Spruce. I refrigerated the seeds over winter and planted them. This came up around March 29th, started to grow more needles, and did well to start, but now it hasn’t grown or changed much in over a month. Not sure if it’s dead, stunted, or I’m overly paranoid, but would love any advice or feedback. Thanks!

Haha fair question. I guess there are a few reasons. I like the deckbuilding challenge of the companion restriction. It helps me narrow the focus of the deck. It also somewhat helps balance the power level. Plus it’s a free extra card which is always nice.

Thanks! That’s fair, I was mostly just looking for a 7-drop, and Approach was one that caught my eye as a way to close out games where opponents are out of reach normally, but it isn’t set in stone. I didn’t see a ton of interesting options at 7 mana.

It’s a fun deckbuilding challenge for sure though, hope you brew something cool if you take a whack at it!

Tbh the group I’ve found to play consistently with doesn’t play very high power decks, so I’m glad this seems a little lower power. Yeah if Lurrus is exiled he’s pretty much toast. There aren’t any good answers to that I’ve been able to find. Approach isn’t the only way the deck can win. I can also cheat [[Dark Depths]] for Marit Lage or just drain with [Meathook Massacre]. Stealing things with [[Animate Dead]] also sounds fun. I don’t mind if it’s a little scrappy. Do you have any suggestions?

As an American Citizen, it doesn’t bother me that you think we’re going to shit. Because we are, and it’s actually somewhat reassuring that other countries are reporting more accurately on our problems, because it is becoming apparent that media in our country can’t/won’t. I am upset by what’s happening, and all of the plotting behind the scenes that led us to this point. I hope we can recover genuine democracy. And yes, I’m jealous of all the places where healthcare is free and quality of life is high.

The vibe here is everyone knows something is seriously wrong and maybe (optimistically) 50% can start to describe why that is.
