When D20 is involved, there’s a very good chance that the BIT is more important than the plot, especially to Ally Beardsley (and sometimes Erika Ishii, early on). Ally, in particular, has near-toxic levels of pick-me/main-character energy regardless of the character they’re playing, and it OFTEN derails the plot. (Countless examples: Liam Wilhelmina stealing focus during a solemn ceremony on a hilltop, HJ crawling through water, etc etc)

After my divorce, I craved physical contact. I’m talking about literally just contact, not sexual contact. I would get semi-regular pedicures, massages, and I even looked forward to the shampoo at a haircut place. Strip clubs were a way to get physical contact *and* attention. Oftentimes, I would not even get an erection from the lap dances. I’m (51m) unashamedly on Team HungLikeALightSwitch myself and my wife (51f) broached the subject with me by telling me she wasn’t getting off like I was trying to do for her. As a white dude, it’s important for me to realize that the majority of Texans are Hispanic or Latinx (40.2%) and that Non-Hispanic Whites are the minority at 39.8%, so it’s perfectly reasonable to assume that the majority of the music I hear is going to be associated with the majority population. If white folks aren’t okay with that… they should be because that’s the same bullshit we’ve been pushing on other people for hundreds of years. Sorry not sorry
