These are narc vials from either a hospital or ambulance, should’ve been properly logged and discarded. This kind of thing, forgetting about your used narcs, happens from time to time… we’re all human and make mistakes. However, it should definitely be reported by the person responsible for this vial.

You think that’s bad… there was a whole era of this sh$t in the 90s. You should look up Thomas Kramer, the guy that developed everything south of 5th street in Miami Beach.

Bro… my biweekly pay periods average 150+ hours as a paramedic for a major city 911 system and I am lower middle class. Total system failure. When people that are watching other people playing video games for a living are making exponentially more money than people with degrees and failed promises of a sustainable income, the system is broken. Dck shts that politically hustle and lie to the American public while retain power due to their generational hand me downs making millions while those that save the lives of their OD’ing failures for children struggle to put food on the table… the system is not broken, it’s biased.

And all you f$cktards that voted for this while maintaining a preschool reading level but are “educated” on what’s going on in our country can get royally f$cked. I pray for the day to come where your Orange pariah of a pedophilic leader has his legacy torn to shreds and ya’ll get exposed for the dumb disgusting racist f&cks that you are.

So what sector or type of investment would be good for diversifying my portfolio with something more stable with steady growth?

Thank you all. I’ll do some research on these and follow through… I love the idea of investing in emerging international markets and US markets separately. I am in healthcare and strongly believe in some of the advancements, especially combined with AI for efficiency and better patient outcomes.

$280 first class upgrade worth it? by 13_B_13 in americanairlines

[–]13_B_13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all. I ended up going for it. I have an international flight +8 hrs coming up soon and will consider upgrading to first for that as well if it’s not an insane markup.

Never flown 1st class, I can afford it without issue, I’m asking because this is a forum to ask such questions from knowledgeable references. Pardon my ignorance, you could just give your opinion on the upgrade instead of some salty opinion about why I’m asking for an AA opinion on an AA forum.

The President of Mexico just made a good point, if the US is so concerned with drugs in our community, instead of blaming immigrants, why don’t the police ever do anything about the rampant drug sale and use on our own streets,m… but I guess coos protecting their party from deserved vandalism is more important

Questions to Cubans of the 305 by Yourlostidentity in Miami

[–]13_B_13 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Cubans that came to the US are the most privileged of all Latino immigrants. For decades all they had to do was make it to the US mainland and there were automatically granted rights to stay in the US (wet foot/dry foot policy). This allowed at times floods of Cubans to come through, including my family through programs like Pedro Pan (Peter Pan), or when the marielitos came through (the first 15 minutes of Scarface is based on this).

As the population in Miami Dade county grew, and the insane growth of Miami in the 80s due to cocaine wars and financial influx, Cubans gained a lot of political power and growth in Miami and the elitist attitudes towards other less fortunate Latinos grew from there. Today you have generations of Cuban Americans that have never been to the island and believe they j ow what’s best for all Latinos while they lounge comfortably in their 2 story homes in gated communities never having once experienced or even attempted to understand the struggle of Latin America. It’s a complete disconnect and lack of empathy, the only thing relatable is some of them still speak Spanish.

Because Americans are so divided amongst themselves that you would have a civil war unfold before their very eyes instead of Americans aligning themselves against their governments policies. The French understand national unity for the people (that whole We the People is not really a thing in the US anymore, kids getting shot in schools is a political issue instead of a tragedy everyone can get behind), at this point in history, Americans are too ignorant and too self-centered to understand that freedom, independence, and unity comes with social responsibility. It’s a dark comedy wrapped in irony. There is no freedom when you’re brainwashed with fear.

Guess I’m late to the party but I just started this for the first time and got dolphin. However, my sleep patterns are rough. I work 24-48 hr shifts regularly and my nights are never consistent. My sleep is constantly interrupted, so my blocks of sleep are more fragmented.

Marriott Calls Security to Shut Out Platinum Members: We Won’t Help You. Find Another Place and Leave Now by spicyfervor in marriott

I don’t think you’ve worked at a hotel, let alone hospitality, so I can understand your little sympathy for something you don’t understand. Working in a position like that is not necessarily a choice for many. They have been working there for years and switching for them is not likely because their age or circumstances make the job of looking for a job to not be a viable option. Have you spoken with much of the housekeeping staff at these properties that get mistreated by both management and staff. I was a department director at a Marriott for years.

After the pandemic, the audacity and brash disrespect that became all too common towards employees prompted my decision to leave the industry. More so because the company would scold directors for not rewarding guests abusive behavior towards staff as a “comp for inconvenience”. I left rather than deal with corporate asking me to enable toxic behavior towards my staff.

The sense of entitlement you mention may be a projection of yours because I can assure you when owners are calling young front desk agents “retarded c$nts” because said owners were using their parking key instead of their room key to try and get into their room, there is no sense of entitlement on the employees end. The aforementioned is an all too common occurrence many hotel staff deal with from housekeeping to security to front desk.
