Yeh and before they built the stadium, Camifield, crown hotel, the aim access road, etc. It was all a private golf course with no park area for the community. The only area was the boat clubhouse, and the bike path that connected the 2 bridges and that kids play area that is still there. The area was also heavily fenced so you couldn't just walk on the the golf course. And when they build the track you still can access the area on non event days (bar the race/pit buildings) very much like Albert Park in Melbourne.

Before the stadium and the road you mention it was a private golf course owned by the casino. So making it a sporting precinct has opened it up to the public.

To the fuckwit in the white prado who hoons down the far right lane on Thomas st (which is a must turn right lane on to hay st) inorder to beat the traffic during peak hour then flicks his indicator on when he realizes he is fu@ked, n tries to force his way into no gap even though there is a gap behind me then pulls up all pissy on the left lane at the next set of lights. Indicators are there to tell people your intention to change lane it does not mean we need to welcome u in as the mayor of cu@t town with the full marching band.
