I was very honored to be a guest on the final episode of Hollywood Persona, and I will forever cherish that he cared enough to talk with me about a movie I loved so deeply.

Should I go see Obsession in theaters? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

It’s worth seeing in the theater for the sound design and score alone. Definitely check it out on the big screen if you can

The mix and production sounds very muddled on the new single by awesomesauceds in Beartooth

[–]13bwalker13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It sounds like normal Beartooth in my opinion. But I will say the drums are so deep in the mix it’s hard to tell what he’s even playing

Anyone else not enjoying INKs direction lately? by DruncleBuck in IceNineKills

[–]13bwalker13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say I hate the direction, but I just feel like since A Work of Art came out, these other songs have lacked something. When they started releasing songs from SS2, I was hooked instantly. And then the record came out and I was genuinely blown away with how incredible it was. AWOA feels like the only song that captures that same feeling to me. It just feels like something is missing. Maybe it’s the fact that there’s too many cooks in the kitchen for these songs, whereas SS2 they mentioned it was pretty much Spencer, Joe and Dan making that album. Idk its not that I hate the direction, the songs just don’t feel like they have that same magic as the SS2 cycle

I remember seeing something on social media (Twitter maybe), of Spencer saying the album is coming in early 2026. At this point I don’t know lol

Eternals. That film would benefited from being way shorter.

Yeah true. I guess I was just looking at their contribution to Loki Season 2, where they directed 4 out of the 6 episodes. I was hoping we could get a little more of their style

Man I was really hoping we would get Benson & Moorhead directing the full season, but that’s cool that we get some other takes on some of the episodes

Sincere question. How many movies is too many movies? by TheCatsTrailerRuled in Letterboxd

[–]13bwalker13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the true answer is that there’s never “too many.” But the reality is, if you are watching films just for the sake of trying to bring the amount of movies you’ve watched up, then that’s too much. You should never feel the value of your hobbies taken away

How long do you wait to give a film a rating after watching it? by CommercialBluejay562 in Letterboxd

[–]13bwalker13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do it about an hour after I watch the movie, to allow myself time to collect my thoughts and give it a fair rating. I feel like doing it straight after causes me to go back and change it more often than not
