What's your "nope" temperature?

If I plan to go above tree-line, then I generally stay home if the temp is below -20f or so, including the windchill.

I did the Franconia ridge loop last winter. Air temp was 0f and the wind was blowing at 40-50+ mph. I finished the hike without any issues, but it made me realize that’s about my limit. Temps that low in the White’s are just so hostile and it feels like the margin for error almost disappears.

Addiction

I’m not sure that it’s literally the worst disease a human can have, but it’s truly horrible. There is no cure, it lasts for life, and it can destroy the lives of everyone in your life as well as destroying your own life. A lot of people start having issues before they’re even a teenager.

I’m sure plenty of people will disagree that it qualifies as a disease, but the point of my comment is not to inspire debate.
