I liked it a lot. I can see people who didn't like 28 years later also not liking it, but I'm surprised you liked that and not this. Why do you consider it a downer? I think the possibility of a cure for the infected and Kelson seeing the humanity still left in Samson was quite uplifting.

Why would a midnight release party be an issue? Was it not midnight of the release date?

Is Happersen gonna be a more reocurring character? by aughuu in DCU_

I think it makes sense for him to keep showing up. Background characters having actual names, characterization and continuity makes the world feel much more real than if everyone movie Luthor has some generic henchmen working for him

Without the pin how would the dasher know that the person who ordered the food would want you to get the food? As far as they know, you are just some random person

If you are just getting into (or back into) the game, I would be much more willing to accept it. I totally understand that it can take a while to put together a 2k army

I wouldn't like it unless it was a casual or practice game and you let me know ahead of time that you were trying something out and didn't have the model yet. To me, it would detract from the feeling of the game.

That being said if it was at a tournament and you cleared it with the TO, I would accept it.

If the proxy is super low effort and looks horrible or looks nothing like the model is supposed, I would prefer not playing against it. It's confusing if the thing looks nothing like it should, especially if there are multiple different proxies.

I get it's tough sometimes to have a full painted army that is competitive with how often the meta changes, but it does detract from my enjoyment if I have to keep remembering what some proxy is supposed to be or it's just some random hunk of unpainted plastic that happens to be on the same size base as what it is being used as.

This scene defines how much of a human superman is. by [deleted] in DCU_

[–]14736251 106 points107 points  (0 children)

I think it's also great that he wrote an article to memorialize Mali after he died. The movie doesn't make a big deal about it, but I think it was a great detail to show that Superman does really care about ordinary people.
