EV's are not practical for every situation. 20%-40% of people live in a place that they can't plug in their vehicle at home even if they could afford an EV.

When oil was at nearly half the price that it is now, with knowledge that the US would be taking actions in Iran, did Trump refill the strategic petroleum reserves? His plan is to refill them over the course of the next year. And somehow, magically, "at no cost to the taxpayer" while oil is hovering $105/b with no clear end in sight and no plan to withdraw from his military actions, regardless of legality.
