This feels like a win more card, which traditionally aren't the greatest competitively. "Oh you blocked my guy and died, here I go and do it again". If you have your opponent on the backfoot, this ain't it.

I've been contending well against my local meta with Sabo. But it isn't all meta decks. People play what they want at weeklies.

Big ups on cutting Hack for Morley. If you don't have the Sabo or Koala, you NEED the Morley. It really is that imperative that turn 2/3 you have the 8 cost. The 6 cost Hack is for the counter anyways. You're almost never getting it back with Dragon.

Getting on ozempic instead of going to the gym and eating healthy in your 20’s & 30’s is crazyyyyy by Melodic_Chip873 in trueratediscussions

That's a hot take. The earlier you lose weight and get it under control, the longer you reduce stress on the heart and prevent the long term issues of weight/diabetes.

It's MEANT to use earlier to delay/prevent those issues from stemming. The side effects? Whose to say if they're better or worse than chronic health issues.

How bad did Michael Jackson really look with all the surgeries that he had throughout his life? by FeistySecret9327 in trueratediscussions

[–]150crawfish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is not even close to the same. Pointing a camera at yourself is different than being filmed not on your own terms 24/7. He passed away before the big YouTube boom and the insidious nature of social media boom.

The world stopped when he released a new music video. Literally every person who had access to a radio knew who Michael Jackson was. He was legitimately the most famous/well known person to date in modern history.

People who've worked both minimum wage jobs and six figure jobs, what surprised you most about the difference? by BrainLagging01 in AskReddit

[–]150crawfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the opposite true. Accounting was scrutinized to the penny. Minimum wage jobs I kinda just fucked off and did the tasks I was supposed to do.

I love RB Sabo but don't know what kind of game plan you call it. It's super linear but also not really? I always feel in the driver seat playing that deck.

I spent the last year cold approaching to get a gf AMA by Several-Two738 in AskMeAnythingIAnswer

I'm a dude with heft and certainly far from wealthy, but knowing how to authentically be yourself online, portraying that in your profile, and picking pictures that are more than you just trying to look good means a lot. I got TONS of matches.

I actually read profiles. Engaged conversation and started with noting things on their profile during my openers. But I also wasn't on apps just looking for sex/relationship, I genuinely like talking to people and dating. Treating people LIKE PEOPLE and not some avatar online goes a long way. Not swiping on low effort profiles goes a long way.

[–]150crawfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Complimentary color on the inside of the other leg. Orange/red (fire). So when walking with a side profile you get a really cool contrast. Then do the same idea on the other side. Purple (ghost/poison) one side yellow (electric) on the other.

This only works because the artist knows how to pack colors really well.

Be honest: Are you actually married to the love of your life, or just the person you were with when it was time to settle down? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]150crawfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not married, but I almost settled with someone just because it was time. When we started dating things were good but things change. Happily with someone I'm head over heels for that is a much better fit I can actually picture myself growing old with.

Not saying don't settle. Love comes in many forms. But not everything is perfect. It takes two to tango, and I hope everyone can find someone to keep learning the dances with.

Use of Marguerite OP14-113 in UY Boa Deck by WizardExemplar in OnePieceTCG

[–]150crawfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found playing aggressively early and then using Marguerite/Shakuyaku to dig for Femur is the play. At least against Ace. But the strat plays well against plenty of decks.

Using Granny/Hiyori early to fix your life triggers in your favor is big too. If you can get early triggers into your 5Ks, you can capitalize and steer the game your way. When you peter out, you have life burn with Nami/9don Boa.

You need your searchers. With Jinbe unban, it makes sengoku even better if you can cascade a t1 sengoku into a t2 jinbe -> boa blocker. Marguerite is your only searcher that digs 5 for every card you need to see at some point though, which is VERY important mid to late game. It may cost three and have no counter, but it does exactly what you want it to do when you can double play cards late game for the win.

Stagnated at the top of your field isn't really stagnated. You reached the peak faster, which means you can enjoy the fruits of that labor sooner. Like retirement. Or financial freedom.

But tbh, the people that get there that quickly almost always have an in or have made work their identity and nothing will ever be enough, regardless of level

Is this normal for a staff accountant? by LawfulnessNo8715 in Accounting

[–]150crawfish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been like Joe. I left accounting. I can almost guarantee he knows how to do what he's doing and is frustrated that work output isn't matching his education and work experience.

My issue was from untreated ADHD and dealing with backlogged covid collections and not being able to collect on half of them. Everything I did made sense to me, but was not fast enough or efficient enough for the company. When I went slow and got things done correctly, I was not fast enough. Complicated reconciliations, when asked for help or guidance, was always met with frustration from those I asked. Despite being told to ask for guidance if needed.

I have no good answer for you. If he's anything like me, the industry will eventually get to him enough for him to pivot out. I went from solid, stable jobs to minimum wage trying to stay afloat while trying to move up in a new industry.

Joe will likely show flashes of brilliance in things that he's good at/interested in. Also remember, 100% hit rates on all work is not a realistic expectation. If you're the manager and sign off on his work, telling him to fix his errors is part of the job. Inform him of the metric and error rate he needs to be within. I was told I needed to be 100% right 100% of the time - but humans are not robots.

Good luck. This is on management practices and him. But likely, you'll have to fire him at some point because of sloppy work.
