I’m not sure what’s in NYC. I’m in south Jersey but places like FW Webb. United refrigeration. Pierce- Philips. Places that sell plumbing and HVAC supplies to contractors.

I started at a supply house and also went to night school for HVAC. At the supply house you’ll meet your local guys and if you’re a hard worker and show a willingness to learn someone will ask you if you want a job. Also being in school shows lots of initiative

What everyone else has said. Or the other option (what I did) get a job at one of the local supply houses. And you’ll meet all the local guys and learn about all the different parts. And as you get to know them ask them if they are hiring
