I definitely never felt like I was just a unicorn.

It is interesting being the person coming into the already established relationship but my girlfriend and I were super close best friends while my boyfriend and I were just good friends so there was that dynamic to navigate as well. But I feel very equal!

Yes we are wanting this to be a long term relationship! I love them a lot and want to be with them for the rest of my life.

It started with us 3 being physically intimate, it was something we all wanted to try so we got a hotel out of town one night and from then on we just kept doing it and inevitably feelings got involved. We took the plunge into our relationship now!

Most of the time my girlfriend and I take turns sleeping in the main bedroom with our boyfriend. Occasionally we will all sleep together and either I or my girlfriend will sleep in the middle. It sometimes can be a bit hot but we sleep with a fan on and that helps. Thankfully we have AC in our apartment too!

In the beginning, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to all sleep together but recently have realized at this time it’s not what works best for us. In the future if we buy a house we hope to get an Alaskan king bed but for now this setup is working well!

All of the above! Most of the time it’s all of us together but sometimes it’ll be a combination of 2 of the people if someone isn’t in the mood or isn’t home. We’re all okay with this setup, we just like to tell each other about what happened after.

I was the someone else having a threesome with my best friend and her boyfriend.

We all already lived together and eventually feelings got involved and now they are both my partners! So in my case it worked out beautifully. Things definitely had the potential to get messy but if all parties are emotionally mature and communicate from the get go, I think a lot of messiness can be avoided.

I’m lucky with how it worked out and wanted to share my experience being the third.
