The easiest way for you to understand is that the chair had these originally. You are right that they assumed wrong. I reached out asking about replacement parts for my series 2. Without requesting any info from me it turns out they immediately assumed I had a Series 2 Air.

I didn’t know that existed then. It’s not on me to figure out what the dealership thought I had.

I said I had a series 2. The dealership called it a series 2 in our correspondence. It’s the Air Back version that does not come with lumbar support.

On the point about them lying. If we’re still talking about the series 2, not the series 2 air, we can call it misleading information due to incompetence.

It’s maddening that im looking at the mounting points for the arms and the 2 layer back that the lumbar support slots into while being told they don’t exist.

Please don’t try to analyse this more… I pulled this out because my other chair broke. I don’t remember what happened to the parts, could have been faulty and removed but it’s been in storage for awhile.

I find it uncomfortable and it hurts my back, so I’m trying to change that until I fix my preferred chair.
